Bandung, June 12, 2025 — The multipurpose hall of Sekolah Tunas Unggul was filled with joy and pride as Grade 2 students officially launched their fable storybook titled Unbeliefable. This collaborative project, developed over seven weeks, showcases how literacy, creativity, and moral values can flourish from an early age when nurtured properly.
The launch event was uniquely presented in the form of a live podcast, where the young authors confidently shared their creative process—from finding story ideas to writing narratives rich in moral messages. An interactive Q&A session with parents followed, further highlighting the essential role of family support in children’s learning journeys.
One of the event’s highlights was the story reading segment, where students read their self-written fables aloud to parents and guests. Each tale carried values such as kindness, honesty, courage, and friendship. The celebration concluded with an art performance by the students, showcasing their talents beyond writing.
Appreciation came from various stakeholders. Dr. Qiqi Yuliati Zakiah, M.Ag., Director of Tunas Unggul School, praised the book as a collection of extraordinary stories filled with life lessons. She encouraged the students to keep reading and writing for the benefit of others.
Neni Suharjani, S.Pd., M.Pd., the school supervisor from the Bandung City Education Office, commended the publication as a reflection of the school’s literacy progress and a tangible example of good educational practice.
Pinarshinta Ganda Mora, Chair of the Tunas Unggul Parent Association, expressed pride in the students’ creativity. “Each story reflects not only their imagination, but also their ability to convey values through simple yet meaningful messages,” she stated.
Through Unbeliefable, Sekolah Tunas Unggul Tunas Unggul School reaffirms its commitment to fostering critical thinking, creativity, and expressive confidence in students from an early age..
