Tunas Unggul Prepares Outstanding Educators for a Golden Generation, from Playschool to High School

As part of its ongoing commitment to improving the quality of education, Sekolah Tunas Unggul  once again held its regular In House Training (IHT) program for all educational units on Saturday, April 26, 2025. This initiative reflects Tunas Unggul’s dedication to developing the competencies of its educators, ensuring that every teacher continues to grow in order to provide the best learning experience for students.

In the Playschool and Early Years sessions, all educators gathered with Kak Iyan to explore Show Management Essentials. This session emphasized the importance of event management as an integral part of developing early childhood skills.

Meanwhile, at the Primary School level, the IHT focused on deepening the implementation of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) The session was led by Mr. Slamet Suwanto, PYP Coordinator, who helped strengthen teachers’ understanding of the inquiry-based curriculum that forms a key foundation of primary education. At the Middle School level, the discussion centered on the Middle Years Programme (MYP) through an inspiring sharing session by Mr. Achmad Safarie, Deputy Head of School at Al-Jabr School Jakarta. He shared real-world implementation experiences to broaden teachers’ perspectives and support more effective practices.

For High School, the IHT featured guest speaker Beina Prafantya, M.Hum., who delivered a session titled Diving Deeper into the Young Expert Program: Adapting the IB-DP within the Tunas Unggul Vision.

The training provided in-depth insights on how the principles of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB-DP) are integrated into Tunas Unggul’s Young Expert Program .

Teachers were equipped with practical strategies and knowledge to help shape students who are ready to face global challenges through an international curriculum approach, while also strengthening professional academic management practices.
