Tarhib Ramadan with Ustadz Handy Bonny: Embracing the Holy Month with a Renewed Spirit

Bandung, 27 Februari 2025 – Welcoming Ramadan Sekolah Tunas Unggul  held Tarhib Ramadan with Ustadz Handy Bonny who inspired teachers and staff to increase worship and improve themselves. The event highlighted the importance of education, life goals, and better preparation for Ramadan, in line with the holistic ruhiyah values implemented at Sekolah Tunas Unggul.

Three Pillars of Children’s Educational Success Children’s educational success is not only determined by school but also by the home and social environment. “The role of parents and the community is very important in shaping children’s character,” said Ustadz Handy Bonny.

Kindness will be rewarded. Kindness will be referred to QS. At-Tahrim 66, he emphasized that every good deed will be rewarded. “Don’t hesitate to do good, because goodness will definitely bear sweet fruit,” he ordered.

The Purpose of Life for Worship Ustadz Handy Bonny reminded us that life must be oriented towards worship in order to achieve Allah’s pleasure. “Teaching is one of the noble forms of da’wah,” he said. In addition, he emphasized that hope should only be directed to Allah, not humans.

Ramadan as a Momentum of Change Ramadan Ramadan must be better than the previous year. For that, he gave three main practices:

1. Reducing useless talk.
2. Controlling your diet during iftar and sahur.
3. Increase worship by reading the Qur’an and other practices.

With holistic ruhiyah values, Sekolah Tunas Unggul  continues to strive to produce a generation that is not only academically intelligent but also strong in spiritual and moral aspects. This event is a moment of reflection in order to live Ramadan with better intentions and practices.
