The Spirit of Solidarity and Compassion Shines Through Tunas Unggul School’s Eid al-Adha 1446 H

Bandung, June 6, 2025, This year’s Eid al-Adha celebration at  Sekolah Tunas Unggul  was more than a ritual observance—it became a meaningful moment to cultivate compassion, togetherness, and sincerity among the entire school community.

In a warm display of solidarity, teachers, staff, students, and parents worked hand-in-hand to carry out the school’s annual Qurban program. A total of 33 donors entrusted their offerings—resulting in the sacrifice of 4 cows and 5 goats, all with the sincere intention to share blessings with others.

The slaughter process was carried out in two phases to ensure inclusive participation and orderly distribution. Altogether, 600 meat packages were distributed to residents around the schools and partner communities.

Beyond the Qurban itself, the spirit of giving also shone through student and parent donations. Contributions from all educational levels—from Playschool to High School—amounted to Rp 10,964,700, which was then used to purchase two additional goats. These goats were also sacrificed and distributed to those in need.

This Qurban activity served as a real-life learning experience for our students. It allowed them to understand that the essence of sacrifice goes beyond the ritual—it’s about empathy, generosity, and gratitude for God’s blessings.

Behind the scenes, dedicated teachers and staff worked with wholehearted collaboration—not merely organizing an event, but modeling the values of humanity and care for the younger generation.

Through this initiative,  Sekolah Tunas Unggul  reaffirms its mission: to nurture not only academically excellent students but also compassionate individuals with noble character—ready to contribute to a better future.
