Bandung, 15 Macrh 2025 – In the spirit of togetherness and social care, Sekolah Tunas Unggul held another Ramadan Bazaar as part of the Holistic Ruhiyah Development program. This event aims to foster the values of generosity, social responsibility, and leadership character in accordance with the IB (International Baccalaureate) student profile such as Caring, Principled, and Reflective.
Blessings in Sharing
The committee for this year’s Ramadan bazaar was chaired by Mrs. Sri Annisah with the support of the entire Tunas Unggul family-students, parents, teachers, and staff-in collecting donations in the form of clothes, bags, shoes, prayer equipment, storybooks, stationery, and toys. These items are then resold to local residents with prices starting from IDR 2,000, making them more affordable for people in need.
From Tunas Unggul Family for the Community
All proceeds from this bazaar will be donated back in the form of social service activities for residents around the school. This step reflects Tunas Unggul’s commitment to uilding a generation that has a high social spirit and actively contributes to society.
“We want to teach the children that Ramadan is not only about fasting but also about sharing and caring for others. With this concept, they learn to be empathetic and responsible individuals,” said Ibu Tini Sumartini, the event coordinator.
